Hines’ nationwide URAC accredited Health Call Center Program assists patients and families 24-hours a day. Experienced and caring registered nurses access state-of-the-art informational systems to identify emergencies, provide nurse triage, and disperse health education, care advice and support to every caller.

Estimates show that a high percentage of all emergency room treatment is for non-emergency care. Also, between 25 and 50 percent of physician office visits could be eliminated through self-care at home. Hines’ 24-Hour Nurse Line provides immediate input on related services, promoting patient education and self-empowerment.
